Photo Seller – Size of 0 from download link and generate link not working

Hi,

A customer said me that she downloaded her picture and it had a 0 bytes. Maybe, she didnt wait the download complete

I tried the link that she had in the mail and I cant download, I have an error page. Did the link work for one download only ?

I tried to generate another link that I tried and I can’t used it either… Can you help me ?

Firstly can you please re-install a fresh version of the plugun:

Then please enable debug from photo seller settings page – set “Enable Logging” to “yes”.

Then generate another download link and paste it here and we will try it.

Can you answer me for the link, it’s only working for one download ?

Ok I just tried that link and your site appears to be timing out.

I also checked the photo seller log.txt file and I couldn’t see any logs related to this. (log.txt is located inside this plugin’s folder)

Can you now please check your server/host log files and look for any errors and let us know what they are. (if you can’t find your server log file ask your host support)

Also in addition to the previous checks, can you also check if you are running the nextgen plugin?

If so, can you deactivate it and try the download link again?

(NextGen has been known to break file downloads of other plugins)

Hi, I deactivate Nextegen (now, I need to redo my gallery ) and I retry a link generated and it’s working !

You should probably ask the nextgen support people why their plugin interferes with the file download operation of this plugin and if there are any work-arounds.

My understanding is that this problem has affected other plugins too.

I also ran into this very same issue. Link was send as it should, but the size was zero bytes: thanks to Billy for finding out that deactivating Nextgen did the trick…

If that is the only cure than I am done… way too lazy to rebuild my 39 galleries over the years…

Just wondering if anyone has found an other work around for this one?
