Love what you did with free download, will you implement in future updates-download one whole gallery lets say a gallery with 50 images, and a button such as download all images free and not going to add cart. Also is it possible to do quantity discount of one print e.g one 8×12″ costs $20 purchase the second for $10.
May 7, 2016 at 12:23 am #73199PeterMemberHi Eddison,
You make some useful suggestions and although they are currently not available in existing functionality, yes I think they would be worth adding to the plugin.
Please keep in mind that we have quite a lot of things on our plate and that also new features take time and resources to do, which means they might not be added straight away.
However if you wish to fast-track these features because you need them immediately, you can request a paid custom job by contacting us directly.
May 8, 2016 at 11:42 am #73200EddisonMemberThanks Peter what sort of cost would you be looking at to do this for us. Iam also having problems when uploading many high resolution photos via zip, when I refresh gallery processing it hangs at Processing image 94 of 629 status in progress but every time I refresh data it stays the same, so Iam not sure if it has stopped or still in progress, can you help.
P.S not sure how to contact you directly to get a cost.

May 8, 2016 at 11:40 pm #73202EddisonMemberIam having real trouble watermarking, I have uploaded over 300 high resolution files (5184×3456) and attempting to watermark via my own logo and even just using create watermarking plain text, it creates about 60 then stops. Can you make any suggestion as Iam eager to get this up and running.
May 9, 2016 at 12:22 am #73203PeterMemberWhat you are seeing is typical when the server you are using does not have enough memory and resources to perform the relevant processing required for watermarking/resizing etc of large photos.
Are you on a shared hosting plan?
If you look at your server’s php error log file you should see a fatal “memory exhausted” error. (ask your host support guys to help you find the error log file if you don’t know how to find it yourself)
When you find the server php error log file please paste the error here so we can see how much memory you “actually” have.
The only way to get around this issue is to get a better server plan, ie, VPS plan or better.
This problem is independent of the photo seller and even if you were not using this plugin, you would see the same problem if you tried to do the same kind of actions such as watermarking and resizing high resolution photos on this current server plan you are on.
May 9, 2016 at 1:38 am #73204EddisonMemberJust waiting to get confirmation from my server, but I believe that the plugin may have a bug as the status progress bar seems to stop at processing image 27 of 314 but still saying in-progress, tried to refresh 20 minutes later still shows the same status. I checked the files and they have all been watermarked.

No it’s not a bug but a limitation on the way PHP works when it generates a fatal error. So in your case the server is running out of resources and hence generating a PHP fatal error during the bulk upload process. Unfortunately there is no way to recover from a PHP fatal error and hence it is not possible to automatically report immediately after this occurs. This is why you see the apparently hung process which says “in-progress”.

May 31, 2016 at 7:20 am #73207EddisonMemberHi Iam having problems with image not previewing after clicking thumbnail I receive the message, The request content cannot be loaded Please try again Later, tried later same message. Checked the php memory its at 512MB. Not sure what to do, it was working last week with the same large file sizes, can you help.
May 31, 2016 at 11:23 am #73208PeterMemberHi,
Can you please check your server PHP error log file and tell us if there are any recent logs there and what they are? (if you don’t know how to find the PHP error log file your host support people will be able to help you)
Also can you provide the link to that gallery so I can check it with my browser?
May 31, 2016 at 12:42 pm #73209EddisonMemberWill see if I can get the PHP, link below to my page
[http://shop.eddison.com.au/photogallery/gallery31/]
Just to my previous message, I have even halved the file size from a 51meg file (when opened) to 24meg and Iam still getting the preview problem in Template 10 but Template 7 works. So Iam wondering if there is a problem with Template 10 as ist does not seem to work with any of my medium to high resolutions.
June 1, 2016 at 12:48 am #73210PeterMemberThe difference between templates 7 and 10 is that 10 will always attempt to create a full-sized watermark image whereas 7 will create a smaller version based on the settings.
Now creating a full-sized watermark requires significantly more server resources.
Are you on a shared server?
Despite what your settings might say regarding the PHP memory_limit value, in reality your host provider will be throttling your maximum memory allocation and thus in reality the amount of memory available to your site might be less than what your PHP.ini states.
This is why I asked you to check your server error logs which should confirm this.
Let’s try a small test:
Upload a much smaller photo in the gallery which uses template 10 to see if that works. Eg, say a photo of size around 1M (1200px x 800px)
When you try to view this image on the front-end using template 10 what happens?
June 8, 2016 at 11:35 am #73211EddisonMemberThanks it does seem to be the shared server issue. Looking at increasing server resources and I will let you know if it works.
On another issue I am finding that once I have made a sale, the pay pal payment goes through and I receive the pay pal notification but then it stops or it seems to fail, I dont get the sale email and the sale is not registered in word press, below is the output from the log

June 9, 2016 at 1:51 am #73212PeterMemberHi,
A few settings you should check:
Log into your paypal account and check the following settings:
1) “Auto Return” (this should be enabled)
2) “Payment Data Transfer” (this should be enabled)
3) “Instant Payment Notification (IPN)” (this should be enabled).
4) UTF-8 formatting enabled as per https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/some-characters-and-text-not-recognizable-in-the-notification-email
Photo seller side:
1) In Payment Gateway Settings make sure you have entered your paypal email and also the PDT identity token.
Can you create a dummy gallery with a price of $0.01 and give me the link? I want to make a test purchase to see what’s going on.
