Hi,
I have a problem with WP Photo Seller’s coupons: the redemption count stays at 0, even though the coupon has been used (with manual checkout).
I have the latest version of WordPress and updated the Photo Seller plugin following the steps (deactivate and delete old version, install and activate new) but that didn’t help.

We will investigate and try and reproduce this.
September 27, 2015 at 12:05 pm #71313OtoriScorpMemberI’d like to also mention this isn’t working for me.
The coupon code is able to be used multiple times.
Thanks
September 28, 2015 at 12:42 am #71314PeterMemberWe fixed this very recently. Please get a new build of the plugin:

September 29, 2015 at 2:42 am #71315OtoriScorpMemberHi Peter,
I have just updated the plugin to version 1.9.9 and am still having issues with the coupon codes not being marked as redeemed once used.
Any advice on where to look next?

Do you mean that the coupon is still able to be used even though the redemption count has been used up?
I want to try and reproduce this on my site.
Please provide the following:
1) The exact settings for the coupon when you created it.
2) The general scenario you are using the coupon for.
March 1, 2016 at 11:41 am #71317nitroitMemberI have just purchased the plugin, so assuming I have the latest version, and the redemption count is not working. I have set it to 1, used it once, but then when reviewing the Coupons page it still says the Redemption Count is 0.
March 1, 2016 at 12:38 pm #71318wzpModeratorAre you using page caching plugins?
March 1, 2016 at 10:42 pm #71319PeterMemberHi nitroit,
It could be that you found a bug. I will test/investigate further.
March 1, 2016 at 11:10 pm #71320PeterMemberUPDATE: I found the bug and have fixed it. I have sent you an email with an updated version of the plugin for you to try.
March 2, 2016 at 3:07 am #71321nitroitMemberI’ve installed the updated plugin you emailed, but just letting you know the version number on the plugins page remained the same. The changelog file definitely mentioned 2.0.8 so I will now test it out and see if it fixes the bug.
March 2, 2016 at 3:17 am #71322nitroitMemberOK I can confirm that bug is fixed, BUT…it has introduced a new issue. The cart and checkout process is now acting as if the Manual Gateway Checkout option is ticked. I didn’t fully complete the manual checkout, but the email still sent through with the download links and obviously no payment was received and the client has the images. Not a great result. It’s actually easier to use the previous version and then just manually disable the coupon code once it has been used.

I don’t quite understand what you mean – are you saying even when you tried using paypal the plugin was forcing you to use manual checkout?
I just performed a paypal checkout and it works fine and also the coupon is being updated accordingly.
I also performed a manual gateway test and all works well – ie, coupon updated and customer not receiving the email till after payment complete.
Check your manual gateway configuration – you may have set the Process manual checkout as if the payment was complete to enabled which will send the download links immediately after submitting the manual gateway form.
March 2, 2016 at 6:33 am #71324nitroitMemberYes, with only PayPal selected as the payment gateway it would redirect me to manual checkout even though this setting was not enabled in the Photo Seller settings.
March 2, 2016 at 7:10 am #71325PeterMemberYour coupon is producing a 100% discount which means the cost is $0.
Paypal won’t allow transactions with $0 cost. The photo seller plugin is designed to automatically detect cases of $0 total cost and it will revert to manual checkout for such a special case.
Change the coupon discount to less than 100% and it will work as expected.
