Photo seller – Coupon Apply To Specific Gallery

Hi,

I have set up a coupon of specific amount to apply to certain variation to a gallery, however, it does not seem to be working, as regardless of which variation was selected for discount the full discount amount was applied to the Cart regardless of which variation.

According to my understanding from the Coupon setup instruction, this is not the behaviour I am expecting. It says on the page “Use this section to assign this coupon to a specific gallery. You can finely tune the coupon to apply to the whole gallery or specific variations within that gallery.”

Furthermore, if you click Update Cart from the Cart, it would remove the coupon from the Cart?

Please explain how it is supposed to work, thanks in advance.

What are the conditions of your coupon?

Can you please provide a link to your gallery which the coupon is supposed to applied for so I can see the behaviour on your site?

Coupon code has discount type $20, no coupon condition set but with Apply to specific gallery and one of the variation ‘Download’ selected.

So if I buy a download and a print, it just apply the coupon to the whole cart but I expect it to apply only to the ‘Download’ product

I have updated the plugin to the supplied version but it actually makes it worse by givinf full cart discount (i.e. 100% excluding shipping) rather than $20 I set.

I have the revert back to the original plugin as we are a live site

Hi Guys,

It seems, that my problem is very similar. I created a coupon with (for example) 20,- Euro discount. When I type the coupon code in the field of the shopping card, the discount of the choosen products will be 100% but the shipping costs.

What I try to say is, that I could have a total amount of for example 260 Euro excluded shipping. Than I type the coupon code with a discount of 20 Euro.

Than the total amount will change to Zero. 100% Discount.

Another question of mine is, why the shown currency in the list of coupons is dollar. Allthough the currency in the main settings is selected as euro.

I would be very thankful for a solution.

Which version of the plugin do you have?

If you haven’t updated in months you should download a fresh version of the plugin and let me know if you still see the issue:
