I purchased the PDF stamper last week, went through all the server checks (PHP 5.2+, IonCube loaded and ready etc.) and went to give it a test run.
When I sent it to manually stamp a test PDF I get a blank, white screen with some of the wp-admin framework remaining in place. I tried a couple different smaller files with less memory, switched the directory of the stamped file to both the source-files and stamped-files directories, disabled all the other plugins, switched themes… nothing is working.
The site doesn’t have much on it – it has one new WP theme and a couple other (small) plugins running as it is still in development. I have even tried the 2nd method of stamping with the same error. Am I missing something?
Thanks for any help you can give!
May 25, 2012 at 12:08 am #45413adminKeymaster1) How big is the PDF File that you are trying to stamp?
2) What is your server’s PHP Memory limit set to (the requirement checker plugin will tell you this)?
3) Are you using the “PDF File Encryption” option in the settings?
4) What version of the PDF Stamper are you using?
5) Please verify you have gone through this checklist:
6) Did you upload the plugin via WordPress’s plugin uploader? Another user faced this same issue for not using the WordPress plugin uploader:

May 28, 2012 at 5:06 pm #45414MLD15MemberI have made some progress on this, but now I am getting an “Error code 1” alert instead of a White screen.
I was able to get the error code 1 to appear by re-uploading the plugin in Binary Mode via step 6 above, as nothing else worked. For your reference, the answers to the above questions are below:
1. 233kb
2. 64MB
3. No – but I also tried with this option enabled and still see the same error
4. 4.1.8
5. I went through this checklist and unfortunately nothing here worked for me
6. Re-uploading via FTP in Binary seemed to help with this white screen issue.
I found this thread: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/error-in-manual-stamping-error-code-1 and am wondering if I am having the same issue. We have a lot of WP sites on our server and perhaps the plugin is getting the file path confused. How would I fix this? Or is this something you would need to do?
Thanks!
May 29, 2012 at 12:16 am #45415adminKeymasterError code 1 means the plugin is having difficulty opening the source file (the path being incorrect would contribute to this). I sent you an email to get access so I can check it out.
May 31, 2012 at 12:36 am #45416adminKeymasterWe did the following two things and it worked fine:
1. Deactivated and deleted the currently installed copy of the plugin then uploaded a fresh copy of the plugin via WordPress plugin uploader interface.
2. Changed the stamping method to the 2nd one in the settings.
