I’m trying to manually stamp a file but it’s not working.
In the error log I get:
[10/16/2018 8:32 AM] – SUCCESS :Processing file stamping request via internal API.
[10/16/2018 8:32 AM] – SUCCESS :Autoloading library for stamping process
[10/16/2018 8:32 AM] – SUCCESS :Stamp position: LT, TranslateX: 60, TranslateY: -15, Pages to Stamp: all
[10/16/2018 8:32 AM] – FAILURE :Error! An error occured while trying to stamp and write the PDF file.Unable to open “/stamped-files/Blank-Template_5bc5a206dc33b.pdf” for writing.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Simon

Is the permission attribute for the stamped-files directory 0754 (octal)?
October 17, 2018 at 7:28 am #78663clearbytesMemberFolder was 775. I’ve changed to 754.
Still get the same message.

October 17, 2018 at 10:02 pm #78665wzpModeratorThe path shown in your debug log “/stamped-files/Blank-Template_5bc76096303a0.pdf” looks “funny.” Is that what is actually in the log file, or did you edit the path?
Also, what kind of server & hosting provider are you using?
October 18, 2018 at 12:23 pm #78666clearbytesMemberNo – I didn’t change the log. Only thing “non-standard” is that /wp-admin/ is in a folder e.g. /cms/wp-admin/
It’s a 1&1 Virtual Cloud Server
Thanks
October 19, 2018 at 1:18 am #78667adminKeymasterHi, Please have a quick look at the following checklist. Let me know if that helps:
October 19, 2018 at 4:17 pm #78668clearbytesMemberThanks – I’ll go through the list.
We have php v7. How do I know if I have 5.4+ version of the plugin?
It says it’s V4.6.2
Thanks
Simon
October 21, 2018 at 1:59 pm #78669wzpModeratorRecent versions of PDF Stamper should work with both versions of PHP. To ensure you have the latest version, install a fresh copy of the plugins:
