    Hi !

I have a curious error, since a recent update of PDF Stamper.

I am using a [wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=3] shortcode. File is correctly stamped. But after downloading, the PDF file seems very ugly : text is not displayed and images have other colors.

So, in the Stamped files manager, when I use the “hard” permalink of one stamped file to display it in the browser, everything works properly. The problem comes when I use the download button and the download box. The file becomes unreadable.

It is the same with the squeeze form and the download link.

    Thanks for your help !

Seems like the encrypted download is having an issue. Have you recently added any plugin to your site?

Try changing the download method to a different one. The following post will explain:

Since this issue recently started, I would recommend you to check this post which may help you find out what other changes you did that may have contributed too:

Ok, you are right. The trouble comes from WP Minify plugin…

Is there any solution ? All plugins are loading about 20 scripts and 5 stylesheets, so minifying this is mandatory.

It is likely that there are other features in that plugin that is doing gzip compression. If this is an option that you can turn off from the settings then try doing that. Or use a minify plugin that only does minification and nothing else.

I personally use W3 Total Cahce plugin to combine and minify scripts which works great.

It works with WP Minify, by choosing “Combine files but do not minify” option and Method 6 (nozip) option in eStore download manager.

    Thanks !
