Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP PDF Stamper › PDF Stamper – Some users unable to download files
Hi
We have been using PDF Stamper for over a year now and it has been great. Most users have been able to download stamped PDFs without a glitch. But there is always a handful that say they are unable to download a file. I’ve had 3 in the last few days.
Obviously the plugin works fine!!
However I would like to know what could be preventing these people from downloading at their end and advise them accordingly.
Are there minimum requirements for the user?
ie: – does not work on older browsers?
– firewall or pop up blockers preventing downloads?
– any suggestions on a response for these users?
I am using PDF Stamper – Version 4.2.9
WordPress – 3.7.1
URL is – [http://www.megandredge.com] – However all stamped files are for premium members so I can’t provide a direct link
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Bella
Hi Bella, The old browser could be a factor but other than that there is no minimum requirement for users.
Let me get a little more info on your setup. Is the stamper used with a PayPal button or eStore or you just have a download now button with stamping for your members?
Also, I would recommend you to load a fresh copy of the stamper plugin too:

Thanks,
I am using eStore with the code – [wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=93]
I have updated PDF Stamper to Version 4.3.6 and all is working fine for me.
I have requested one of the unsuccessful downloaders to try again and let me know what happens their end. Will keep you posted
Have you tried enabling the debug logs, and then examining the download_menager_debug.log file, after one of the failed downloads?
