PDF Stamper – pages come out blank after stamping

We currently have WP version 4.6.1 and WP PDF Stamper version 4.4.9. When we try to stamp a pdf whether that be via the automatic process or the manual process, they sometimes come out blank but with the correct number of pages. This is happening at a random rate and not very consistent with specific pdfs so we cannot backtrack the pdf; unless I am overlooking something. Also, when checking the size of the stamped pdf it looks to be like it is a correct file size and not a scrapped file size so it seems like the stamping process makes the slides go blank?

We have already spent several days trying to figure this out since we want roll this feature out on our website but no success. Has anyone experienced anything similar and how is it fixed? Thanks in advance for any input.

Also, I just found out that there is a new version of the pdf stamping plugin but in our wordpress it does not notify us to update it. Does our license allow for updates or do we need to purchase new license?

Let me know if this still happens after you do the above.

Does this happen with a particular file only or with different files? Can you reproduce the issue by doing a manual stamping?
