Hi,
I’ve just bought the PDF stamper, installed it, and it’s not working.
i’m getting this error when downloading the pdf ebook :
WooCommerce and PDF Stamper integration – An error occured while trying to stamp the PDF file! Error details: There was an exception when trying to encrypt the file. Error Details: It is not allowed to remove the existing security handler with this credentials.
Any ideas on where to look to fix it?
The upload didn’t work via the plugin page, had to FTP the folder in. Read the other forum topics on this and i did everthing they said too..
Any help would be greatly appreciated
June 11, 2018 at 3:52 am #77971simonsaysptMemberI Unchecked the PDF File Encryption and it worked..
My color settings etc aren’t though..
What would be causing the Encryption to not be allowed?
Any ideas?
Thanks

And also carefully review the integration procedure:

If you want the stamper to encrypt the file (when delivering the stamped copy), keep the source/original PDF file unencrypted. Your customers never interact with the source/original file so no harm in keeping that open.

The intergration isn’t exactly that thorough.. Tick box & Save. pretty straight forward right..
I changed the colours to just a BLUE RGB number, keeping the RG at 0 and it’s visible now, guess it just didn’t like the shade of blue i tried for… anyway, it’s visible now.
@ADMIN i thought so too, but after checking the copy i saved in InDesign, i had no security turned on or set when i exported my copy.. soooo not sure what’s causing it to say that?
Either way it’s working since i posted this topic. it’s just going to be a slow pick through why i can’t activate the No Copy or Print protection for now..
I apreciate the responses either way. thanks
