I received the following email from PayPal:
Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:
If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.
Thanks,
PayPal

I have had this plugin installed for several months and have had several transactions go through successfully, so this email was unexpected.
After searching the forums here, I got in touch with my web host, but they said it’s not happening on their end and that I should check with Mailchimp… Meanwhile, I checked my IPN history in PayPal, and it looks like when I receive payments for other things, not related to my WP eStore products, PayPal tries to send an IPN to the Mailchimp URL above.
What do I need to change so PayPal only sends the IPN to Mailchimp when the payment comes through WP eStore? I use this PayPal account for other things too, so I need a way to keep these separate.
Thanks!
July 27, 2012 at 7:24 am #47833adminKeymasterNone of our plugins do anything to send the PayPal IPN to the following URL:
I am pretty sure that you (or someone else who may have helped you) have customized your PayPal profile and specified that PayPal sends the IPN to the above URL. Please log into your PayPal account and check your IPN settings and correct this (basically, change the IPN URL to your website URL).
If you are interested to integration MailChimp with eStore then simply follow this documentation:

The link above doesn’t seem to have any documentation about Mailchimp and eStore; is this now available somewhere else? I do want to make sure I have everything set up correctly.
Thanks!
July 28, 2012 at 5:07 am #47835IvyMemberThe link in the above forum explain how MailChimp and eStore integrate with each other. If you do not see these options in your eStore you may need a fresh build of the plugin.
