I am selling a packaged program through Vervante and I am looking for a simple solution to process the payment through Paypal/wpestore and then send a notification to Vervante and to myself that the payment cleared through paypal.
I have a graphic with the buy now button linked to the paypal purchase link, which is pretty simple and I’d like to keep it this simple. So how do I do this with the wpestore shopping cart.
My website is [www.byebyedebt.net] if anyone wants to take a look at it. There is a lot of information on this website, and too much for me to go through all of it, so if anyone could help me. I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance.
March 3, 2012 at 2:12 am #42611adminKeymasterWP eStore has a feature that allows you to forward the payment notification (IPN) to a 3rd party URL or script. Simply use that feature and eStore will forward the IPN to this 3rd party script everytime a payment for a eStore product is completed.
Check the following section:
WP eStore Settings -> 3rd Party Integration -> POST IPN to a 3rd Party Application
December 19, 2012 at 6:01 pm #42612bluegiraffe85MemberI’m trying to do this as well — integrate eStore with Vervante. The problem is that Vervante REQUIRES that their part number be included in the emails that they receive. As far as I can tell, there is no way to add this number in eStore.
Here is a link to Vervante’s requirements: [http://store.vervante.com/download/Email%20for%20format%20for%20Order%20Processing.pdf]
They don’t list the ability to receive order information via a URL, only via email.
December 21, 2012 at 10:42 pm #42613adminKeymasterThe Vervante integration will need some custom development as they have some specific requirements for this.
December 23, 2012 at 6:47 pm #42614bluegiraffe85MemberYes they do have specific requirements, that is why I posted the question. What do you mean by “custom development”? Does that mean “hire someone to do it for you”? Or, “we will offer that in a future version”? Or “you are out of luck”? Please be more specific.
My client has only just started selling her new product and doesn’t yet have a lot of sales. Placing orders manually will work in the short term. I just need to know if I should tell her that an automated solution is coming… or if we need to find a different shopping cart solution.
December 24, 2012 at 11:01 pm #42615adminKeymasterHi, Sorry I wasn’t more specific. Yes, “custom development” means, hire a developer. You can also consider hiring us (we should be able to do a custom job for your project):

We will only add this as a feature if a lot of users request for it. This post will explain why:
