I’m testing payments in the paypal sandbox. Every time I make a sale, it shows negative, like -$142.50, and does not show up payments received area, and my account balance is going down not up. Worse, the debugs logs in the estore settings in WP aren’t updating, despite the box being checked and logs reset several times. So, I have no idea what to do here, and no diagnostic info is being generated in the logs.

    Love some advice.

    Thanks.

I’m not as worried about the logs as I am about the transactions going in backwards. On the Paypal order screen for the buyer, it states the correct payment amount, i.e. $142.50, but when I check the merchant account, it shows -$142.50 being deducted from my merchant account.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Found it. The sandbox UNLOGS you from the merchant account when you go to check your transactions and logs you into the buyer account. Very annoying. Payments are going thru just fine, but you think you are logged into the merchant account, but you are suddenly logged into the buyer account, without any warning or notice. There are some serious bugs in the Paypal sandbox. I was also having several login problems with wierd error codes and Paypal fixed it, but, you’d think after all this time it would be stable code. Nope.
