Despite the “use logs” being checked and hitting the reset button, the ipn_handle_debug.log is not being cleared and does not update with new transactions AND the other logs are all blank. Any ideas what could be causing this.
Please ensure that the log files have a permission of 644, and the plugin directory has a permission of 755.
Some servers can have wrong configuration which makes the plugin not write to the log file unless the permission is set to 777. For testing purpose it is okay to set the permission of the log files (log files only) to 777 then do your test. Once done set your permission back to the correct one.
The plugin dir was set to 755 and the logs are in the plugin dir. Going to try the 777 thing. Yesterday, Paypal sandbox was not working, got an email from them because I could not log in, just an FYI.
