Occasionally we are receiving multiple emails and having multiple accounts created in eMember with paypal. We are also seeing this error message from authorize.net
[blockquote]An error occurred while trying to report this transaction to the merchant. An e-mail has been sent to the merchant informing them of the error. The following is the result of the attempt to charge your credit card.
This transaction has been approved.
It is advisable for you to contact the merchant to verify that you will receive the product or service.[/blockquote]
I’m not sure if this is all related and I did find an read this post about paypal.

I’ve been asked by our host tech support to get more details, as they don’t think they are related, and that it isn’t a server problem, but something to do with the cart software.
I have now turned logging on, and what is weird is when I open the ipn log from within estore nothing shows, but when I open it from the server there is information there? Any idea’s as to why that is happening?
If you like to see the log files I can email them to you or post them. Any help with clarifying this if it is something we need to do on the server end, could you explain what is needed, and if it isn’t that could you help me to track it down.
Thanks!
I will jump on your server and check things out. I have sent you an email for this.
Turned out that some credit cards don’t allow a transaction less than $1 so it was declining the transaction. For testing it was using a $0.01 amount which was being declined by the bank. Using a proper amount fixed the issue with Authorize.net complaining after the payment.
Fun fact: Some credit card companies will automatically credit your account, if the amount is less than $1, rather than send you a bill for that month; provided that you had a zero balance the previous month.
