I’m using only Authorize.net (AIM and ARB) as a payment gateway (everything else is disabled. Upon trying to submit an order (with any item in the cart), I get the following transaction error:
AUTH_AIM Transaction Status: 3 – There has been an error processing this transaction
Since it only seems to provide a Response Code (3 in this case) and not a Response Reason Code, I can’t figure out what the problem is other than that there’s an error in processing the transaction. All of our products are resulting in this problem.
I’m currently running in test mode.
Any clues?
Hi, please install a fresh copy of gateway bundle addon and do another transaction and tell me what error you get:

I’m now getting the following error instead:
AUTH_AIM Transaction Status: 3 – There has been an error processing this transaction
Subcode: 2
Reason Code: 13
Reason: The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.
I’ve double checked the API login ID and transaction key and they are correct.
Well, the error was returned by Authorize.net AIM server. So there is definitely something wrong with your setup.
Can you please make sure that the API keys you entered in the settings are valid for your sandbox account?
