Tagged: Password Reset
Hello Everybody,
if our Members want to reset the password, WPemember sends it 3 times (i Can see ist in the Debug-File) and we don´t know, why?
The three Emails have different passwords, and one of them then works.
Does anyone have an idea to solve the problem?
Thanks for help
Peter
First, please check to make sure “this” is not the issue:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/duplicate-emails-when-reset-password-link-is-used
If you can “see it” in the debug logs, then something is causing the plugin to think the user requested 3 resets.
Hello,
thanks for your answer. I checked the duplicate Email – Topic before, but it´s not the problem.
So i activate the Debug-Modus an see the three Entries for reset Passwords. When i checked the Source-Code, but it seems ok.
The Problem happened to all users, myself test it with 2 Accounts, and some Members write us per Email or Messenger to that problem.
I make a test with the Reset Password Form from WordPress, an it works fine.
Kind regards
Peter
Okay, logically; it has to be something about your configuration, otherwise this thread would be thousands of entries long (with the tens of thousands of installs of the plugin).
Is this a new or existing site? Who is your hosting provider and what hosting package are you using?
What other plugins are you using? And are you using any page caching plugins, server caching modules or CDN?
Finally, please post an UNEDITED section of debug log that shows the system sending out 3 emails.
