I’m sure this may be a stupid question, but is there any way to stop the page completely reloading when someone clicks on the Add to Cart button? It’s just that on my site you could be previewing music on an audio player hearing a certain track – when you press the cart button the page refreshes and of course that reloads the player back to its default starting position.
If that doesn’t make sense you can see it here:

Update: This feature has now been added to the plugin. Enable it from the following interface:
Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Enable Ajax on Add to Cart Buttons
Hi Jonathan, I understand your requirement. WP eStore uses standard HTTP POST which requires the page to load. I have plans to add AJAX option for the buttons. When I add the AJAX option it won’t require a page load.
ajax add to cart would be nice
when do you expect this feature to be implemented?
I really don’t have any estimate for this one.
Is there any time scale on this update as yet?
Its something I really need for my site to function correctly (lots of products on one page, one product per line) and I dont want to have to use a different cart as eStore does everything else I need perfectly.
Thanks, David.
Hi David, we are going to implement this soon.
When I add an item to the cart it DOES NOT REFRESH and therefore the cart does not show up unless I reload the page.
What can I do to fix this please?
Please post a link to the page where I can go and check this. Are you using the ajax feature or the advanced variations addon?
I am having the same problem mentioned by CharlotteC.
I don’t know if I am using the Ajax feature (how can I tell?) and yes, I am using the advanced variations UI addon.
One example page is here: [http://www.tillhecomes.org/books-jeremy-myers/get-all-books/]
I “fixed” it for now by turning off the Variations UI addon, but would really like to be able to use that plugin.
@jeremyers1, please install a fresh copy of eStore and see how it goes:
