Is it possible to somehow outsource the
function eMember_compact_login_widget_custom(){}
?
Like it could be done with the language-files (lang.php)…
I added the fancy-login to the custom-widget and some other stuff (hardcoded links etc., which is not relevant to the audience, i guess).
And now I wonder how to make that changes “update-proof”..
btw: it would be very nice if you could add the fancy-login to that custom-widget…
and maybe check your file-name in this topic:
WP eMember – Creating or Customizing the Compact Login Widget/Links
The topic says “eMember_auth_utils.php” but should be “eMember_utils_auth.php” in the actual plugin (at least thats the file name in my version)
thanks!
There is no way to autonomously prevent custom updates from being overwritten:

The only real way to update proof your changes is to create your own little custom login widget plugin.
