Im wondering. If i sell downloadable products…Am I supposed to create my own thank you page, download page, return from paypal page??? what pages are not included in the premium eshop plugin that I have to create? why is there no step by step instructional guide to do this stuff? the info in this site seems scattered, Lacking in thouroghness and hard to interpret. Where can I find the dummies guide to eshop?November 14, 2009 at 12:07 pm #16030amin007Participant
@cableman, There is a section called “Documentation and Technical support” on the plugin page which points to the documentation site:
Please look around and read the documentation before posting forum posts like “I am confused”… thousands of other people doesn’t seem to be confused. If you are not sure about something (I agree that there can be confusion as not everyone sees things from the same perspective) post it nicely and I will try to clear it up for you.November 14, 2009 at 5:41 pm #16031cablemanMember
amin007, I am sorry if I came across as rude. I do appologize. But in reality. I am a broadband technician. I am somewhat intellegent and resourcefull. I have tought myself web design in Flash, dreamweaver, wordpress as well as html, php, css and a couple of others. Now, the reason I am so frusterated is that I have a product I wish to sell. I have a site, and I have been messing around with eshop for 3 weeks unsuccesfully. It has driven me bonkers. I have followed the documentations to a tee, I have read the forums over and over, I even bought the $25.00 version hoping for clarity and an easier way. I can get eshop to direct me back to the site after paypal to receive my instant download on both the free version and the premium version. But after 65 hours of relentless attempts and carefull study of the forums and documentations…. I can’t for the life of me get shop to send an email out to a customer after payment has been completed. So amin007, once again I am sorry. But its gotten to the point of driving me crazy, once again I appologize for my rudeness. You have created an awsome product and I do appeciate your hard work and those who have been involved with this project. But, I can not for the life of me get it to send the email out to customers..November 14, 2009 at 11:47 pm #16032amin007Participant
