Hi there.
I am selling personalized products but for each product I need to collect firstname, lastname, gender and spouse name. I know I could use a form on the redirect page after payment, but if someone is buying multiple products at the same time, and have different personalized details for each, that wouldn’t work. There seems to be only 1 field allowed in the ‘Collect Customer Input’ option on each product. Is there a way to increase this to include multiple fields?
Thanks, Will

August 7, 2012 at 2:03 pm #48142willwatrousMemberHi Peter. Thanks for the response. I’ve read this post, but it seems that both the paypal and redirect page options only allow me to get personalized info from the customer on a transaction level and I need this on a per product level, as the products all have different personalized options. I am already using the product variation for color, type etc. Now I want to be able to get a few inputs for each product ordered.

August 9, 2012 at 3:43 pm #48144willwatrousMemberThanks for letting me know. I’m in desperate need of getting something like this working on the site, is there a WP expert that is fluent in this plugin that I can hire to customize it to my needs?
Any refer would be appreciated. Thank you!

December 10, 2012 at 6:59 pm #48146djbizieMemberI see this is 4 montsh sence last reply. Were there any progress fixing the requested feature? I also need to collect one unique value per product. I want to collect a username from the customer. But if the person purchases one product, entering the value and updates the cart to more than one product he will not be able to provide me more than one username.
December 11, 2012 at 5:29 am #48147adminKeymasterYou can collect one customer input per product outside the variation. If you need to collect a “username” for each of your product, you will be able to do it using the collect customer input feature. If you need to collect multiple different input then see my reply to your other post:
