Gentlemen,
I’ve been a user of your free plugin “WP Video Lightbox” for years. One of the places where I use it the most is on my podcasting site [http://www.hablandodetecnologia.com]. All of the videos that appear on the right hand sidebar work with WP Video Lightbox. The problem is that WP Video Lightbox doesn’t work with the iPhone.
So yesterday I purchased the developer edition of “WP Lightbox Ultimate” because it says that it will work with any browser as well as with all iOS devices. Besides, it works with Vimeo and with Amazon S3.
The problem is that I’ve used the “WP Video Lightbox” shortcode all over my site, which presently has 204 episodes (posts). Finding all the instances where I’ve used “WP Video Lightbox” to replace them with the new shortcode would be a nightmare.
Any idea what I should do? One idea would be to use the new plugin from now on and leave the old posts the way they are. Would that be a good idea? Would both plugins work side-by-side or would they conflict with each other?
Having both plugins activated ***may*** (but no promises) lead to Javascript conflicts:
If you are adept at using phpMyAdmin, you could possibly, and ***VERY, VERY, CAREFULLY*** do a global replace of the old shortcodes with the new ones. Your page/post content is kept in the wp_posts table:
