Membership renews but the commission does not

I have a membership program set up on my website. This membership renews every month. I also have an affiliate program set up with the membership. I signed up a couple of people (Person A and Person . Person B is signed up under Person A.

The problem is that when Person B signed up, Person A got the commission (that was correct). But, when person B’s membership renewed, Person A didn’t get credit for the commission.

Are you using one time payment or subscription payment for membership? Is this membership tied to a recurring/subscription payment? If it is then how did you create this subscription payment button? Please post a link to the page where you have this button.

Did you enable the following option in WP eStore Settings -> Addon Settings -> Affiliate Plugin Related Settings?

I’m using a subscription payment. Yes, the membership is tied to the subscription. Below is the link where the button is.

This is how I created the subscription.

I went to the estore and added a product. Under additional details, I added the product details and put #2 in the reference text (2 is the number of the membership level that I had created). I went down to the Subscription/Recurring Payment Specific Settings (Click to Expand). I put nothing in the trial amount & 0/day in the length of trial period.

Then under recurring billing I put 2.00 in the recurring billing amount. 1/month in the recurring billing cycle and I checked reattempt on failure and saved the subscription.

I don’t have the “One Time Commission for Subscription Payment” enabled

Thank you for the details. All the setup looks good. Lets look at debug so we can see what the plugin did after it received the recurring payment notification. Please enable debug in the eStore plugin then share the debug file content after you receive a recurring commission that has affiliate referral. This post will tell you how to enable debug:
