When I navigate to Manage Members, I cannot get a list of my existing members to display so that I can manage them. I see the “Loading” text appear briefly, then it disappears and nothing happens. The list never appears.
Also, same thing happens with Manage Content Protection. None of the existing pages load.
Please advise.
December 4, 2011 at 8:29 am #39162PeterMemberHi,
Sounds strange indeed. Might be a conflict somewhere with your theme or another plugin.
Please perform the following tests:

December 4, 2011 at 1:56 pm #39163adminKeymasterIt would also be a good idea to load a fresh build of the plugin:

December 4, 2011 at 6:46 pm #39164marcuscMemberMost updated version of plugin corrected problem.
However, getting an error when I try to access a page that the user has permission to access. It says “Content Is Restricted” even though that user has permission to access. Access is granted through the page settings:
Yes, content is protected.
The two membership levels are granted access. This user is in one of those two levels.
Please advise.

January 22, 2013 at 3:40 pm #39166SCMG1MemberSame bug as above is happening to us currently… When we navigate to Manage Members, we cannot get a list of existing members to display so that we can manage them. We see the “Loading” text and spinning applet appear briefly, then it disappears and nothing happens. The list never appears. This only happened recently, but no changes to plugins or theme recently… we have just re-installed latest versions of the plugin also – and are not using any of the known plugins or themes that “don’t play well” with your product. Please advise !
January 22, 2013 at 4:47 pm #39167SCMG1MemberAddendum… Plugin returns “No data found.” in list – BUT – all members and functions seem to be working? Very vexing!
January 22, 2013 at 11:23 pm #39168adminKeymasterIt is likely you have recently upgraded your WordPress version which is causing this. Please see this sticky post which should help:

January 26, 2013 at 7:51 pm #39169SCMG1MemberWOW – since you folks are going to delete or otherwise not show relevant posts that you don’t like – then there is no incentive to post the resolution we found after three days of pulling the hair out of our heads either then – is there ?!
Have a great day…
January 26, 2013 at 10:30 pm #39170adminKeymasterI sent you 2 emails but never heard back from you. I was going to jump on your site to see what is going on this site. It is likely that another plugin is messing up emember’s query but I can only be sure if I can see your setup. Please check your email and reply to it. Don’t you have access to the email address that you are using to post on this forum?
January 31, 2013 at 8:13 pm #39171piciulssMemberHello,
I have the same problem. I can see the member statistic on the Dashboard, but when I try to acces the members list, it doesnt shows anything. I have updated to the latest WP 3.5.1
and also installed a new copy of Emember plugin. Still doesnt works.
Can you help me please ?
February 1, 2013 at 12:01 am #39172adminKeymasterHi, Please answer the following questions for me:
1) You deleted the eMember plugin you were using right?
2) Then you downloaded a new copy from our server and uploaded that copy correct?
We find that a few of users do not follow our update instruction from the documentation (which says to do the above) and it can cause a few issues one being the one you are seeing:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-installation-upgrade-instructions-3
3) Did you clear your browser cache after you upgraded the plugin (just in case)?
4) What version number do you see for your eMember plugin in the WP Plugins menu of your dashboard?
February 1, 2013 at 4:50 pm #39173piciulssMemberHello,
1. Yes I deleted the eMember plugin because I thought that will repair my problem.
2. Yes a requested an update from your site. ( WP eMembers – v8.5.5 )
3. Yes. I have deleted the browser cache. I tried also with other browsers.
4. WP eMembers – Dashboard v8.5.5
Also I want to tell you that I had the same problem with the Membership Level Page.
But it was resolved after reinstalling the plugin. Unfortunatelly the member list display problem remains. I did the update just like you explained in your post.
I really need to get this thing to work
Thank you in advance !
February 1, 2013 at 11:14 pm #39174adminKeymasterThank you for confirming those. I have sent you an email to get access to your site so I can check out what is going on.
Update: Turned out the theme had a JavaScript error in the admin dashboard which was preventing eMember’s JavaScript from working and caused this issue.
