I searched your forum and found one reference to this. Your suggestion was to extend the membership by adjusting the start date. But this does not solve my problem.
Here is my problem:
1) A member has signed for 30 days. He paid by 30 days via credit card through PayPal and his account opened and he has 30 days
2) Today I received a check from him. He asked me to extend his account another 30 days.
3) He is only half way through his first 30 days.
4) I cannot see any area in the members section that allows me to easily simply add another 30 days.
This brings up the previous post I did asking about seeing the numbers of days left until expiry. Is it not possible when you add that feature to the members panel to allow the administrator to manually just type in the extra days.
For example – let’s say your manual plug in shows DAYS LEFT TO EXPIRY 15
I then simply add in 30 days so then it reads DAYS LEFT TO EXPIRY 45
Is this doable? If not how can I extend a subscription part way through a subscription?
Thanks. You have a great product.

emember – how do i manually extend the subscription of a member via admin side
You can always manually extend the subscription of a members (so they get more time). When you are manually updating a member’s account status or membership level, you should also update the value of the “Subscription Start Date” field.
Otherwise, the plugin will count the days from the old value that you have and see that the user’s expiry condition is true so it will expire the account again. So for example: if you have the member in a 30 day membership and his/her subscription start day is 30 days in the past, the plugin will expire the account. So make sure to adjust the subscription start date field’s value accordingly.
