Manual mode does not create a Customer, or an Order?
My customer created an order, received successful confirmation on the web of completed order, and he received (and forwarded to me) an order confirmation email. I eventually also received Admin order confirmation email.
But there is no new customer registered in eStore, and no Order registered.
Is this how it should work? Seems to me that I should at least have a new customer record, and maybe also a new order?
June 9, 2010 at 12:29 am #21543wpCommerceModeratorI think a new feature has been added to wp eStore which allows you to add your customer to the database. Just request for an update and it should fix the issue.
August 11, 2014 at 11:24 am #21544DeepLivingMemberI’ve got the same issue – no order created.
I installed the order management module today, configured and tested it.
1. during check-out I choose the ‘manual’ option and wpEstore displayed the manual checkout screen
2. I completed it, and received my ‘seller’ as well as ‘buyer’ emails
3. WpEstore correctly displayed the specific ‘thank you’ page I specified
However, when I click on Order Management, the order doesn’t shop up, so (in a real situation) I would not be able to change it to ‘paid’ so that the rest of the process can happen (in my case, since the product has no downloads, the only automatic ‘after payment action’ that’s needed is for Wp-Affiliate to track the commission).
Please help – how do I figure out what the problem is?
Thanks

August 11, 2014 at 10:03 pm #21545adminKeymasterHi Bennie, What version of eStore are you using?
August 12, 2014 at 12:45 pm #21546DeepLivingMemberThx @admin .. oops 6.6.7 which I see is quite old. I just upgraded and it all works well – sorry and thanks!
Question though … in the old version, on the manual checkout page, you displayed the total amount; that’s no longer appears in the new version and I don’t see a setting for it – have you taken that away?
Also – is there an easy way to be notified that a new version of your plugins are available?
Thanks again and apologies for not checking the obvious
Bennie
August 12, 2014 at 11:38 pm #21547adminKeymasterYou can use the following shortcode on your sidebar or on the manual checkout page to show a summary of the order:
[wp_eStore_order_summary]
An update was sent to everyone couple of months ago, it probably went to your spam box. The following post is helpful:
