I am loving this plugin – thanks for doing such great work!
I have one issue I can’t seem to figure out. Paypal checkout is working great and returning customer to thank-you page w/ download links. Yeah!
Manual checkout is sending emails, but stalling on manual-checkout page.
Here are the debug results from three transactions:
[admin deleted debug info]
I have both the api and user name fields for Mailchimp filled in under the Autoresponder settings as the plugin was adding the admin username and pw in these fields and Mailchimp was failing. It is working on Paypal, but not on manual.
Cart is not clearing after transaction and if I load the thank-you URL into the browser, it displays w/ links. Cart is clear after Paypal.
Thanks for your help!
Grant
February 5, 2012 at 12:22 am #41615grant_andrewMemberUpdate: I unchecked Use Autoresponder in the manual checkout and now it works. So somehow MailChimp and Manual Checkout aren’t getting along.
Different issue (I think)The email the manual checkout is sending w/ the dl links is not parsing the {} tags:
Dear Grant,
Thank you for your support!
{product_details}
{product_specific_instructions}
{product_link}
Thank you,
Grant

Underneath this is the Details and the link. Any thoughts there?
Thanks again – I’m really enjoying the flexibility and capability of this plugin.

February 5, 2012 at 11:07 am #41616adminKeymasterThe manual checkout doesn’t have all the email tag parsing that a normal checkout has because it doesn’t go through the automatic checkout process. When you check the “Send Product Download Links in the Email” checkbox it will include the links in the email that gets sent out even if you don’t use the “{product_link}” tag. It will also list each product details that the customer checked out. We do have plans to make it just like the other automated checkout (example: PayPal, authorize.net etc.) since a few users have started to use it for delivering free products.
February 5, 2012 at 12:59 pm #41617grant_andrewMemberThank you. Any thoughts on the MailChimp issue?
February 6, 2012 at 2:54 am #41618adminKeymasterMy mistake, I didn’t realize you were still having issues with MailChimp. From your “update” that you posted on the 2nd post, it looked like you fixed the issue. Please do the following:
1. Load a fresh build of the plugin:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
2. Run a test transaction with manual checkout.
3. Share the content of the “eStore_post_payment_debug.log” debug file.
4. Post a link to the page where you have the buy buttons from eStore.
February 6, 2012 at 4:20 pm #41619grant_andrewMemberWhen the autoresponder on manual option is selected, this is hanging in the same spot as what is above.

February 7, 2012 at 10:19 am #41620adminKeymasterFrom the debug it looks like it is hitting an error when it tries to create a Mailchimp API object. This would indicate that there is a plugin that you are running on this site which is also doing something with the MailChimp API object and creating a conflict. Can you please do this test and report back?

February 9, 2012 at 12:21 am #41621grant_andrewMemberI did have a couple of the offending plugins on the list, which I removed but there was no change. What I don’t understand is why it works with the PayPal sequence but not with the manual checkout? I’m running Weaver II Pro 1.0.14.
Thanks for your help.
January 14, 2013 at 10:58 am #41622BrodephatSpectatorI also have this problem and I just downloaded the latest update.
Everything works fine but when using manual checkout for free products, it returns to a blank Checkout Page after processing. The download email is successfully sent but it may take a user awhile to realize this because there is no other information shown after the checkout page submit.
Any ideas?

January 14, 2013 at 11:46 pm #41623adminKeymasterHi, you didn’t mention what version of eStore you are using. So I am going to recommend you to do this first:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Next, what value do you have in the “Return URL” field under the manual checkout settings section of eStore?
Are you using analytic eCommerce tracking on this site?
June 9, 2014 at 11:41 pm #41624jeremyers1MemberI cannot get my site to redirect to the thank you page after the manual checkout is complete after the customer purchases a “free” PDF. I am not using the autoresponder or affiliate signup options. I am not using the PDF stamper. I am not using a squeeze page.
I have checked the following boxes on the Payment Gateway Settings page:
-Redirect to Manual Checkout For Zero Amount Purchase
-Use Manual Payment Option
-Send Product Download Links in the Email
I have also set a return URL for after the manual checkout is complete.
The customer receives the email with the download links in it, but after they complete the check out, they only see a white screen, and are not redirected to the return URL.
I am using WP eStore 7.0.6
Here is a page where the manual checkout can be tested:
[http://www.tillhecomes.org/books-jeremy-myers/test-manual-checkout/]
Here are the debug details:

[06/09/2014 11:28 PM] – SUCCESS :Value of current cart item:
[06/09/2014 11:28 PM] – SUCCESS :Applying filter – eStore_notification_email_body_filter
[06/09/2014 11:28 PM] – SUCCESS :WP Affiliate Platform capability is not present.

June 10, 2014 at 12:01 am #41625adminKeymasterWhat value do you have in the following settings field?
WP eStore Settings -> Payment Gateway Settings -> Manual Checkout -> Return URL
June 10, 2014 at 1:53 am #41626jeremyers1MemberI just upgraded the plugin to 7.1.1 and that fixed it. Sorry I didn’t do that before… it is what you recommended earlier.
