I have a page that sells tickets to an event where there is 1 price for a single person ($60) & another price for a couple ($100). The page also “sells” their lunch preference (price is set to $0.001 so it will run through PayPal).
We do have some coupons which basically gives $60 off (the price for a single person admission). Because it’s possible that the total price could be $0, I have WP eStore set to “Redirect to Manual Checkout For Zero Amount Purchase”
It works … well … kind of.
The email that gets sent to me (the seller) shows the details of the purchaser & what was purchased – EXCEPT for the coupon code that was used. I’m guessing this is an oversight and that the program should be displaying this (a bug)?

August 1, 2018 at 2:28 am #78263adminKeymasterPlease read the following:
Enable the appropriate manual checkout option so you get the FULL transaction complete email (as opposed to the standard pending manual order email).
The full transaction complete email shows the same details as the PayPal one.
August 2, 2018 at 9:04 pm #78264CNBarnesSpectatorI’ve read that article (multiple times), as well as pouring through all of the settings. I have yet to find anywhere that talks about an option to get the “FULL transaction complete email”.
August 2, 2018 at 11:55 pm #78265adminKeymasterWhat gets displayed in the sale notification is controlled by email merge tags. The available email merge tags are listed here:

Do you have the following email merge tag in the the buyer notification email settings?
{coupon_code}
For manual checkout, do you have the following option checked in the
WP eStore Settings -> Payment Gateway Settings -> Manual Checkout
interface?1) Automatically Update Customer & Products Database
2) Send Product Download Links in the Email
When the above two options are checked, manual checkout submission will act as if a payment was received (similar to how it works after a paypal checkout).
