I have emember successfully running on [http://adamsacres.com] I have not logged in as a wordpress administrator for a week or so. Today I attempted to log in as wordpress administrator and I can only get to my profile not the wp control panel. I can log in as well with emember. Any solutions?
April 6, 2011 at 1:32 am #31073amin007ParticipantAssuming this resulted from eMember (other plugin can be in play here too)… it can only happen if you are using the “WordPress Integration feature” and you import your admin user into a membership level where you have set the role to be lower than “admin”.
When you import a user to a particular level the plugin will update the role of that user to reflect whatever you have specified in that membership level.
If you are using the “WordPress Integration” feature then when importing the admin user it is a good idea to create a separate membership level with all access and admin role then import the WordPress admin account to that membership level.
Anyway, it is very easy to get your admin access back. I have sent you an email with the instructions… let me know how you go.
April 7, 2011 at 1:21 am #31074IvyMemberIt turned out that his hosting company moved the site to another server and failed to share this information with him. This was causing the admin issue he was having.
April 23, 2011 at 1:42 am #31075GraphicBassMemberI had the same thing happen to me this evening. Turned out my administrator member level had a 1-year expiry date I hadn’t noticed. I went into mySQL through CPanel and manually change my privileges to “active” to be able to get back into the site.
Just my $.02.

June 16, 2011 at 6:47 pm #31076ckoMemberI deleted the admin member out of the emember system after having imported the wp-users. Is there a way to get the admin back? Thanks

If you totally deleted the admin user then you should be able to create another normal user (subscriber or something) then use the above method to give this user admin rights.
June 24, 2011 at 4:45 pm #31078ckoMemberCould you please reset my Key for e-member? I don’t get it. It was a testsystem, so no problem
June 25, 2011 at 12:06 am #31079amin007Participant“reset my Key for e-member” – what do you mean by that? eMember does not have any key?
June 25, 2011 at 10:55 am #31080ckoMembersorry, i mean the pdf-stamper key.
June 25, 2011 at 11:57 pm #31081amin007ParticipantIf you go to the “Product License” menu of the PDF stamper plugin you will be able to hit the “Deactivate” button to deactivate the license from the currently installed domain. This will free they key up. If you are having an issue with that please use the contact form to send us your license key details and we will manually reset it.
