I installed the WP version of PrettyPhotos and that went fine…I was trying to install the HTML download version into WP
But now more trouble Lightbox ultimate not working right at all
This is the code I put in to play a YOUTUBE video
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkSDgcTXsQ0″ width=500
height=500 description=”Video description goes here” source=”http://www.drsoram.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/tinnitus-2.jpg” title=”Video title goes here”]
As you can see my links if you take them out work just fine.BUT on the WP page
1. The photo called tinnitus does not show ..just a dotted box
2. The video does not play at 500x 500 but more like 300x 100
I am not sure what I am doing wrong..I have installed PrettyPhoto and not changed any of the default settings and have activated Prettyphoto (ONLY) in the settings for Lightbox Ultimate
I have screen shots of the pages but this forum software does not allow uploads of jpgs so I cant really show it to you.
Your help is appreciated on why I cannot get this going …I reviewed the usage video 3 times and just followed along with a random youtube video and random photo to try it out
thank you for your help

July 6, 2012 at 12:34 am #46894wpCommerceModeratorHi, I couldn’t find the above shortcode anywhere in that page. Please copy the exact shortcode to a new page or post so I can take a look:
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkSDgcTXsQ0" width=500 height=500 description="Video description goes here" source="http://www.drsoram.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/tinnitus-2.jpg" title="Video title goes here"]
Please make sure to save the shortcode guide (PDF file) on your computer before using it. Don’t copy shortcode from it when you are viewing in the browser window.

July 6, 2012 at 1:40 pm #46901wpCommerceModeratorHi, I think somehow the shortcode got formatted when you copied and pasted it to the editor.
Try pasting it to the “HTML” view of the editor. That should remove the formatting.
There is a Paste as Plain Text option in the Visual Editor (a tinyMCE button that looks like T). You should always paste the URL here before inserting to the post/page. That removes any type of formatting.
July 6, 2012 at 2:50 pm #46902drsoramMemberI already tried pasting into the HTML editor and it did not work
I can try again and let you know
What URL are you talking about when you say PASTE as PLAIN text? the url of the photo or the YOUTUBE video? That makes no sense and was not shown in your training video. The guy in there sure did not do that
Please advise
July 6, 2012 at 3:01 pm #46903drsoramMemberOk that got it to work by pasting it into HTML without formatting
So is this what I have to do from now on?
1. Paste my short code into HTML view
2. Highlight and remove formatting from the entire shortcode
3. Save and view
Why do I have to do all this? is there something wrong with my install of Wordprss?
I am using the FCK Editor ..could that be formatting it wrongly?
I appreciate your help and look forward to your answer on WHY this is happening
Thank you
Soram
