Hi, When you copy shortcode from our PDF guide there won’t be any formatting issue. But you still need to change some parameters. For example: URL of the video, URL of the image. You will mostly copy that URL from somewhere. And that’s when the URL gets formatted.

If you directly insert it to the “Visual” editor (assuming the URL is formatted) the editor tries to interpret it to HTML (along with lots of junk characters), which is why your shortcode anchor image wasn’t rendering.

So if you ever need to copy a piece of text from anywhere in the web and you want to use it in the “Visual” Editor you should first filter it through the Paste as Plain Text editor. Alternatively, you can switch to the HTML view and paste the text. That will also do the trick.

I don’t know about the FCK editor. The normal WordPress installation comes with WYSIWYG editor.
