Is it possible to add a lightbox to [wp_eMember_login]? This would so nice in an Ultimate Lightbox.
Thank you.
eMember has it’s own ligthbox effect feature for login. Go to eMember settings menu and check the following to enable this feature:
Enable Fancy Login Widget/Popup -> Style2
I’ve enabled the widget/popup as described above, but the [wp_eMember_login] shortcode output remains the same.
I suspect I’m not understanding something.
You wouldn’t believe how much time I’ve spent trying to track down a way to do this… but I finally pulled all the info together and solved my own problem.
Step 1: enable fancy login widget/popup as described above
Step 2: add this short code to the wordpress page: [wp_eMember_compact_login]
Now it works, yay!
Should you decide that you want to customize the widget, here is a related post:

The standard login shortcode has nothing to do with the fancy login popup. When you enable the fancy login option, all the login links in the protected message displayed by this plugin changes to the popup (instead of a link to the login page).
So if you go to a protected post/page and see a message that says something like “This content is protected” and there is a login link next to it. Click on that login link which will open the fancy login popup.
