Hi, I have put this compact login into a page, but when I select the buttons, they don’t go anywhere.

Where do I update these links?

Sorry if you have explained this somewhere already. Just can’t seem to locate.

The same message come us, when it prompt someone to register. But the links don’t work.

ie if you press on the SUBSCRIBE buttons.

This comes up:

Please Login to view this content. (Not a member? Join Today!)

The ‘Login’ works here but the Join Today goes to the wrong page.

I don’t see any compact login shortcode output on that page that you shared.

The compact login shortcode produces an output like the one shown in our documentation here:

If I search for “not a member” keyphrase, I should find it on the page. I can’t see it on your site. What am I missing?

Really sorry I took it off as I thought I could get away with just a registration form instead here.

I will put it back on, so you can see what I mean.

I’m still having the problem, even when the user is prompted to “Join Today!” this button goes to the wrong page.

It currently goes to my memberships page, when I would like it to go to the Registration Page.

Can you let me know which is the setting I need to change for this to work?

Also the “login” pop up doesn’t come up when you select it (On the memberships page).

The login link in the compact login widget is not working because you have some JavaScript error coming from a google maps type plugin. So you gotta fix that main JavaScript issue coming from that other plugin.

In the mean time, turn off the fancy login option from eMember settings then that JavaScript error won’t matter and the compact login shortcode should work in the standard format.

For the join now link, make sure you have the correct link specified in the following settings area of the plugin (that shortcode simply takes the URL value you specified in the settings):

eMember Settings -> Pages/Forms Settings

Can you clarify which is the “join now” setting – Is it the Membership Payment/Join Page (Mandatory)?
