I have contact from 7 set up and I selected the option here:

    following the steps here:

    https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/how-to-capture-leads-using-the-wp-affiliate-platform-215

and when I get the email generated by the form it does not have the referring affiliate id or any mention of wp affiliate platform. Just a basic contact from 7 email.

    Did I miss something?

Hi, Have you updated the Contact form 7 and Affiliate Platform plugins recently? If not please update it:

Re-install or Load a Fresh Copy of the Plugin(s)

Once you have updated the plugins enable debug in the affiliate platform plugin.

Yes I updated all plugins. The leads are being tracked in the plugin , but what I want is for the Referrer ID to be included in the email that I receive form the contact form.

it looks like a few years ago when i first set this up and used it for a while I had this in the contact email: [wp_affiliate_lead:reference:1:end]

do I still need something like that to get the referrer ID?

or what do I do to get that to work?

The referrer ID should just get added to the email body by default. You don’t need to do anything else. Enable the debug option then do a test lead capture and share the URL of your contact form.

Are you sure you have enabled the debug option in the plugin? I don’t see any log data.
