Hi,

Since installing JetPack – I now receive the following error when a new user tries to register as a member:
“The email address you are using is already taken!
Please choose a different email address.”
I have deactivated all Jetpack components that I don’t use but am still receiving this error. Is there anyway to make these eMember and Jetpack friendly?
I am using WP eMember v7.9.8.

The JetPack feature that is causing the Email Error is-
Sharing
The most super duper sharing tool on the interwebs. Share content with Facebook, Twitter, and many more.
Once “Sharing” is deactivated the Registration process works fine!
Can anyone provide a solution as the client would like to use JetPack’s Sharing feature?
Hi, We tested with the Jetpack sharing plugin and couldn’t see any issue with the registration. Can you please load a fresh copy of the plugin and let me know if you still see this issue:
