I have create 2 pages with add to cart buttons
eportuguese.net/courses/feb3/
eportuguese.net/courses/course1at/
While the first link works perfectly, the second does not add the item to the cart – by clicking the add to cart button, I am forwarded to the correct ‘checkout’ page but nothing is added to cart.
Another issue, when creating a page if I click on the eStore shortcode button, I get the message: Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please advise.Thank you in advance.
January 14, 2014 at 3:14 am #60311mbrsolutionSpectatorHi I had a look at both URLs above.
Like you mentioned one works and the other doesn’t work.
The one that works [www.eportuguese.net/courses/feb3/] has the add to cart added to the side bar. The one that does not work does not have the add to cart added to the side bar.
You also have an added LINK “Click here to register for Level 1A” at the bottom of the site that works. When you click it opens up on a new tab with the same details from the site you clicked on. I think this can be confusing to buyers.
Please check and make sure that the set up is set exactly on both sites.
Kind regards
January 14, 2014 at 10:07 pm #60312adminKeymaster@epweb, Both of those pages are from the same WordPress install correct?
What shortcode are you using on the page where it doesn’t work?
I see you are using the W3 Total Cache plugin, have you done the following:

January 15, 2014 at 4:10 am #60313epwebMemberThank you for both replies.
I had already followed the link’s instructions.
The shortcode being used on the page that does not work is: [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=2] (the one that works is: [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1] )
I now have the following message when I login (wordpress) – not sure if it is related to this issue:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘gpluspb_create_menu’ not found or invalid function name in /hermes/waloraweb028/b2370/moo.eportuguesenet/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 429
Once again, your help is very appreciated.
January 15, 2014 at 4:59 am #60314mbrsolutionSpectatorHi epweb, the two shortcodes that you are using are the correct format provided the the id is correct on both of the shortcode.
Where have you placed the following shortcode for your shopping cart?
[wp_eStore_cart]
I assume that the above shortcode is placed in a widget, is this correct?
For the URL that does not work you don’t have the side bar displayed which I assume is the shopping cart widget.
When you click on the add to cart button on the URL that does not work, it does not go anywhere.
Can you confirm my analysis above?
Kind regards
January 15, 2014 at 1:43 pm #60315epwebMember@mbrsolution Thank you so much for trying to help me!
page: eportuguese.net/courses/feb3/ – shortcode is added to sidebar in a widget and works perfectly
page: eportuguese.net/courses/course1at/ – shortcode place in page (not widget) and it does not work
shopping cart is placed on the: eportuguese.net/compra/ page – I have set up so that upon clicking add to cart (on either page), the customer is forwarded directly to the ‘check out’ page, in my case /compra/ where I placed the view shopping cart shortcode [wp_eStore_cart]
I created another page eportuguese.net/test/ and added the add to cart button on the page as well as a side bar (in widget) – it’s the same item (course) for sale as the one on the /courses/course1at/ and it also does not add to the shopping cart.
Please disregard the cost of the course or the appearance of the site. I am just trying to test the use of the shopping cart and will update all the information, cost of course, etc later.
Thank you very much for taking the time to help me!
January 15, 2014 at 2:02 pm #60316epwebMemberJust one more piece of information, it does not matter where I place the shortcode (page, side) or which product (I’ve create different products to test), only id=1 works.
January 15, 2014 at 10:28 pm #60317adminKeymasterThat other error you mentioned is not coming from this plugin. You can do the following test to see where it is coming from:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
I will also take a look inside your site. I have sen you an email for it.
January 16, 2014 at 12:48 am #60318epwebMemberI have just replied to your email. The error messages I mentioned earlier are no longer showing on my wordpress dashboard. Thank you!
January 16, 2014 at 1:25 am #60319wpCommerceModerator@epweb, It turned out that you specified a URL in the
Button Redirect Target URL
field of your product. So eStore was directly redirecting to that URL instead of adding the product to the shopping cart.January 16, 2014 at 1:49 am #60320epwebMemberThank you so much! I really appreciate your help! (sorry to take your time with such a silly mistake!!!)
