International characters missing or wrongly displayed

Hi there,

Processing of international characters on transactions e.g. from Germany, is not working in my shop. Results are as follows:

In eStore/customers

Name: Müller = M

Address: Straße = Stra

In Buyer Email

Name: Müller = M�ller

Stamped File

Müller = Mller

Straße = Strae

Language setting in eStore: i18n and ‘Use UTF-8 Font’ in Stamper is checked.

Luckily I got the mail from PayPal with the customers data to complete the customer record. And the customer received an ebook in which every page is wrongly stamped.

How can I solve this problem?

You just need to set UTF-8 formatting in your PayPal account. The following article will explain how to do that:
