MemberHello, is it possible, that a Free-Member must confirm his Email address before he get access to the free content?
Now everyone can type any kind of Email (not his own one) address to become a free member … and the registration-Email goes to anyone (who not wanted to receive Emails from me!)
Thank You, TFrancke

MemberHello I posted previously about this. I have a client who wants to implement Free Membership with email confirmation but can we use the full registration form please?
thanks again

ParticipantYou are not replacing the full registration form. The member will still need to fill in the full registration form but this time they do it after they click on the link sent to them via email.
Essentially this is the same process as the paid membership. In this case instead of making a payment you are filling out a small form to initiate the membership account creation process.

MemberWhen the customer follow the Email link, he was linked back to the registration form – that’s great. But in the Email field is not given his Email adress! Now he must type his Email again (!?) … or he can put any other Email adress to register … and was automaticly registered (without confirming) with the “new” Email. Have I overlooked something?

MemberI got an error.
After customer click the link for email confirmation, it will redirect customer to complete their registration.
However, when they try to complete, by filling in username and password, error message show up saying that their email address already taken (email address is never taken before), and then another notification said registration complete. When I look at the Admin menu –> Members
They become members without username. Pls help.
thanks
Tommy

MemberWhen a free member tries to confirm email, the register button does not work. The member adds information as required but when user clicks register nothing happens. Here is the link [http://www.edmond-spikesfamilyreunion.com/?page_id=3903]

Keymaster@behaugabook, it looks like your site has a few JavaScript errors which is preventing eMember’s registration form from working correctly. Please do the following steps:
1) Load a fresh copy of eMember just in case:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
2) Check the following two posts so you can find out which plugin or theme is creating the JavaScript error and then fix that:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/debugging-javascript-errors-on-your-site
Once you fix the error on your site, try the registration form again and you will see that it works.
