Hi,
I have everything set up and when testing, it all worked until right after I clicked on the complete registration link in the email and got to the page where I needed to enter a username, password, etc….
The issue is with the required form field “MEMBERSHIP” that I have no control over and cannot enter any text in the field and it also won’t let me continue to the next page because it says the field is required, but won’t let me enter any information in the field. Doesn’t make sense. It says required but won’t let me add anything. I don’t see anywhere this is a field to set up in the plugin and I can’t see how the field would be useful to me anyway.
I set this process up for another site and had no trouble like this.
I created a screenshot of the issue that you can see at the following link. Please remove the link when you get the image. http://localbizgorilla.com/registration-issue/
Thank you,
Dave

Does the other site you set up (where you say this works) have different theme/pugin combinations?
Can you please try the following tests:

December 1, 2011 at 11:19 pm #39087masmoolaMemberSame theme and all three of your programs and duplicated them on this new site.
December 1, 2011 at 11:35 pm #39088PeterMemberHi,
Hmm ok….so if the sites are virtually exactly the same then assuming you’ve checked the veracity of your configuration, the next thing I can suggest is to deactivate and delete this plugin and load a fresh copy:

December 1, 2011 at 11:35 pm #39089masmoolaMemberDeactivated all of the plugins and then I loaded another theme to see what would happen and still get the same results.
I don’t understand why that field shows up and doesn’t let me enter anything.
December 1, 2011 at 11:43 pm #39090PeterMemberYeah I agree it is strange given that you are saying that this site is the same as the other sites.
Therefore this is why I think you should load a fresh version of the plugin as stated in my previous post and see if this fixes your problem.
December 2, 2011 at 12:21 am #39091masmoolaMemberI am so sorry. I just figured it out. I did not specify the Membership level. I totally forgot about that. It works now.
Everything is so complicated to set up, but once it’s set up, man this is the best program.
December 2, 2011 at 12:39 am #39092masmoolaMemberPeter, Are you one of the php architects? And if so, can I ask for some advice or help about an issue I’m having?
I had communicated with one of the php architects before and I can’t remember if that was you or not.
I had a theme designed a while back and have been extremely happy with setting it up on many domains and I’m having an issue with the links changing colors in between loading after you click on the link, and it only happens in the latest version of firefox.
If you have the firefox browser open and you click on the “Members” main link, you will see the link turn green temporarily. The same with all of the main links.
I’ve loaded this theme on many sites and it works fine without causing this issue.
I deactivated all of the plugins and tried it bare and the problem still happens.
If you can’t offer help, no problem.
If you know someone you can recommend, that would be great.
Thank you

Sorry about the delayed response – I’ve been away recently.
No I’m not one of the PHP architects but your issue sounds like a peculiar problem.
When I went to your site to see it for my self I was unable to reproduce it with the latest version of firefox 9.0.1.
