Hi,
I’m currently using Paypal w/ IPN as the main payment solution on my site, but
I was wondering in addition to this if it’s possible to manually input my orders/payments that are already processed via 3rd party sites and be able to send out just the emails with the unique download link. Would this be done using the “Use Manual Payment Option” but not checking the “Use Multiple Payment Gateways” option since I don’t want the users on my site to see this as an option? I’ve been trying to find any documentation on how to use the manual checkout option, I’m not really understanding how I actually input the order so I just send the email with the link and have both the customer information and sales count inputted into the database. Currently I just added the customer from the manage customers section, then changed the sales count of the product from the manage products section, and generated the link and wrote the emails out from the message form fields within the admin functions tab…which all seems like I’m overcomplicating something that should probably be more simple and I’m just overlooking. Also what I did doesn’t seem to add the sale to the sales stats. Is this manual order processing from the admin side possible or is there a video or documentation I can refer to on how to do this?
Thanks!

Under payment gateway options you will find the following options “Embed Manual Checkout Form on a WordPress Page (optional)”. Use this option to place the manual payment form on a page. You can use a page exclude plugin to hide this page from the navigation menu if you want. Also you can keep this page as draft until you need to use it. This way you only have access to this page and when you need to use it.
There are option in the manual checkout that allow for the customer data to be updated in the database, download links sent automatically, and so on without a payment being made. You can find all these options in the “manual/off-line checkout settings menu” of the “payment gateway options”.

You then need to customize the manual checkout form to meet your particular needs. You can either do it “manually,” using information from these sources:

Or by using the WP eStore Manual Checkout Form Builder AddOn:
Your willingness to manually transcribe credit card information from the manual checkout form, to your external processor is commendable; but ill-advised. For the amount of time, the customer credit card information resides on your server; it poses an incredibly high security risk. Neither your hosting provider or us, are responsible for any loss that may occur, if the credit card information is hacked. You may also be subject to severe penalties, under your country’s Data Privacy laws, if a data breach occurs.
Instead, please consider the use of either PayPal, or one of the other payment processors that are supported by eStore.
