1. How I’m suppose to add captcha for my manual checkout.
2. How to ensure certain elemen like email & address was written correctly before any buyer is allowed to submit.December 18, 2009 at 5:21 am #16788amin007Participant
You can modify the “eStore_payment_submission.php” file and put in a captcha form if you like. You can also add any form verification that you like. You will need to modify the code in the function called “submit_to_manual” on that file.
The captcha site explains all the things you need to place a captca form http://www.captcha.net/August 1, 2012 at 9:46 am #16789mikefMember
I would like to add a ReCAPTCHA to validate my squeeze box form as described here.
I have the code and key from Google. Where exactly do I add this to the eStore_payment_submission.php
I am not a programmer. Could you please provide an example of what the edited submit_to_manual function should look like with the ReCAPTCHA validation added to the form?
That would be extremely helpful. Thanks.

If you wan to just add reCAPTCHA to the squeeze form then you can do that from the settings. Go to the following area of eStore and enable captcha:
WP eStore Settings -> AddOn Settings -> reCAPTCHA SettingsAugust 2, 2012 at 5:55 am #16791mikefMember
Ah, I should have seen that! Thanks, works like a charm.March 11, 2017 at 9:04 am #16792ramonaParticipant
For me reCAPTCHA does not work with manual checkout. So I had spam orders. I submitted everything as you described: WP eStore Settings -> AddOn Settings -> reCAPTCHA Settings
I use eStore 7.4.1.
Thank you in advance.March 11, 2017 at 2:06 pm #16793
For me reCAPTCHA does not work with manual checkout.
Did you follow the instructions, in the second post, of this thread?March 11, 2017 at 3:52 pm #16794ramonaParticipant
You mean The captcha site explains all the things you need to place a captca form.
Because I thought all we have to do this: WP eStore Settings -> AddOn Settings -> reCAPTCHA Settings. Which file I have to modify?March 11, 2017 at 4:04 pm #16795March 11, 2017 at 11:30 pm #16796
Hi, The current captcha in the settings applies to squeeze form at the moment. Are you seeing spam submission in the manual checkout? If you are then I will extend the captcha to the manaul checkout also.February 1, 2018 at 3:12 pm #16797aarijMember
I have inserted the site and secret keys but I still don’t see recaptcha on my squeeze page [http://www.bestduabook.com/]. Is there something else I have to do that I’m missing?February 1, 2018 at 9:27 pm #16798
Did you resolve the matter? It seems to be working…

I need to have the recaptcha on the manual checkout form. I thought this was already done by the posts in this thread but I have all the settings checked and it’s showing on everything except for the manual checkout form. How do I go about doing this?September 30, 2018 at 4:53 am #16800
I have added an option in the plugin so the captcha is now shown on the manual checkout form also (when enabled). I have sent you an updated copy of the plugin via email.
