How to Put Captcha in Manual Checkout

Hi,

1. How I’m suppose to add captcha for my manual checkout.

2. How to ensure certain elemen like email & address was written correctly before any buyer is allowed to submit.

You can modify the “eStore_payment_submission.php” file and put in a captcha form if you like. You can also add any form verification that you like. You will need to modify the code in the function called “submit_to_manual” on that file.

I have the code and key from Google. Where exactly do I add this to the eStore_payment_submission.php

I am not a programmer. Could you please provide an example of what the edited submit_to_manual function should look like with the ReCAPTCHA validation added to the form?

If you wan to just add reCAPTCHA to the squeeze form then you can do that from the settings. Go to the following area of eStore and enable captcha:

WP eStore Settings -> AddOn Settings -> reCAPTCHA Settings

For me reCAPTCHA does not work with manual checkout. So I had spam orders. I submitted everything as you described: WP eStore Settings -> AddOn Settings -> reCAPTCHA Settings

I use eStore 7.4.1.

Hi, The current captcha in the settings applies to squeeze form at the moment. Are you seeing spam submission in the manual checkout? If you are then I will extend the captcha to the manaul checkout also.

Hi –

I need to have the recaptcha on the manual checkout form. I thought this was already done by the posts in this thread but I have all the settings checked and it’s showing on everything except for the manual checkout form. How do I go about doing this?

I have added an option in the plugin so the captcha is now shown on the manual checkout form also (when enabled). I have sent you an updated copy of the plugin via email.
