This is for a language course.
1)I would like my main page to be a sales page offering 2 different membership levels.
2) When someone buys, I would like the person to be redirected to a new menu with different options. Say someone bought Level 1. On signing in, they should see the menu for that level. If they buy level 2, they should see the same stuff plus a couple more pages. In both cases, the sales page should no longer be there.
How can I do this? Any links? Thanks,
Julio
May 17, 2012 at 10:48 pm #45158jfoppoliMemberIn other words, can I hide pages from the menu until a user is signed in? AND if so, can I show different pages there depending on the membership level?
For instance
Before logging in the user sees just a sales page
HOME PAGE (SALES PAGE)
After logging in for level 1….
The sales page is gone and on the top menu they can see…
PAGE A, PAGE B, PAGE C
After logging in for level 2 they can see…
PAGE A, PAGE B, PAGE C, PAGE D, PAGE E
Thanks,
Julio
May 17, 2012 at 10:59 pm #45159bradelectroMemberThis is exactly what I want to do too! After a user logs in, I want a new menu item to appear, and another menu item to disappear (free videos -vs- premium videos). Ideally, I could have a WordPress menu only for logged in members. Kind of like the WPML translation plug-ins that lets you make a different menu for a different language.

The following two links should help:

May 18, 2012 at 3:16 am #45163jfoppoliMemberHey, THANKS so much for your help. I followed the instructions to the best of my knowledge. I managed to follow it quite well, it is very clear. However, the part of the code when I need to replace those two lines threw me off. I really don’t know much about code.
I created two menus, one for non-logged in users called “Main Menu” and one for logged in users called “Premium Users”. Could anyone help me make the change of those two lines? Thanks in advance!!
Here is what I found in my header.php

May 18, 2012 at 11:56 am #45165jfoppoliMember@ Key Master ~ I am sorry, I didn’t know that was not allowed. I will try to fix it on my own then. Thanks for the previous links. I really love your products and the visual support you have (apart from the one here as well) Thumbs up!
