    Hi

I have tried to add multiple images of a product, but it only shows the original image. I have read a lot about it in here and it seems that other have the same problem and that it just doesn’t work in some themes? I have tried to check the lightbox effect box, but it doesn’t work. Do you have any suggestions?

Also, is it possible to place the boxes next to each other instead of on top of each other on each page (see genanvendt.dk/traekasser/) if you make the boxes smaller? I have tried to place them next to each other in the html codes, but they still show up on top of each other instead.

    Thanks ;o)

    Hi Anna,

    Have you tried this tweak:

    https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/wp-estore-and-lightbox-workaround

    Also regarding your question:

“is it possible to place the boxes next to each other instead of on top of each other on each page”

Your link shows a “page not found” and therefore I’m not able to see what you mean exactly.

    Hi Peter

Thank you for your reply ;o)

When I try to find Lightbox 2, I am told that it doesn’t exist anymore? So I tried installing Lightbox plus. And that didn’t help either. Should I use another Lightbox plugin? Or is it something else?

It is strange that the link did not work. When I copy the URL it looks like this : genanvendt.dk/traekasser/

I hope it works now. What I mean is that I would like the boxes to be places side by side and not one on top of the other.

It looks like the eStore plugin’s code has been altered on your site. Please load a fresh build of the eStore plugin first:

I think you are referring to the fancy product display templates. Each fancy display template looks a certain way. There are a few templates to choose from:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/stylish-product-display-options-for-wp-estore-829

For example, you can use fancy display template 3 with a category option (list all products from a category) and they will be displayed side by side:

    Hi admin

I tried to delete my plugin and to download a fresh one and activate it, and unfortunately it did not make a difference. I can still not see more than one image for each product. What could be the problem?

Concerning the templates, what I mean is to be able to place two boxes next to each other – like on my front page, I have placed 3 pictures next to each

I tried the category thing, but they were displayed on top of each other and not next to each other.

Issue #1: You are using fancy display template 2 which won’t go side by side. This template is not designed to go side by side.

If you use fancy 3, fancy 5 or fancy 6 templates (examples shown at the following URL) then you will be able to place the products side by side (in a grid display):

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/stylish-product-display-options-for-wp-estore-829

Issue #2: The code is still messed up. It is missing the lightbox code which means you didn’t delete the plugin and loaded a fresh copy. If you want me to troubleshoot this lightbox issue for you then you need to do the following:

    1) Deactivate and delete the currently installed eStore plugin.

    2) Download a fresh copy of the plugin from our server and then install it.

    3) Now, don’t touch any code in the plugin after this so I can investigate the lightbox issue.

I did deactivate, delete and ask for a link to a fresh copy and downloaded the one that I got access to. And the only things I changed after was in the estore style css (some borders and colors) and I put this code: target=”_blank in the eStore_button_display_helper.php to get it to open the pictures in a new window. Could any of this disturb the lightbox codes?

Furthermore, I cannot seem to get the side by side thing to work with the other templates. I use fancy 3 on this page: [http://genanvendt.dk/legetojsbiler/] and they wont go side by side?

I can see that the lightbox functions if I use fancy 10, but the pictures do not open in a new window and the small ones under the main picture opens up to a huge picture.

Thanks for all your help ;o)

Yes, the change you made is impacting the lightbox functionality. If you open the image in a new window then how will the lightbox effect work on the image? Lightbox effect can only work when it is in the same window. If you want to open an image in a new window that is fine but then don’t try to use lightbox on that image.

If you put one product at a time then they won’t go sideways. Categorize your products and then use the category products display shortcode which will group them and show them in a grid display.

Check the “Advanced Example” from the following post and do what it says (it will help you get grid display going with fancy 3):

Ok, now I understand. Then I guess I have to live without the lightbox effect

Is there no way to get fancy10 pictures (both the main picture and the additional pictures) open in a new window either?
