How can I download a fresh copy of the plug-in?

I got a little too brave and made some changes to the nextgen gallery template and a few other files, all mostly cosmetic. Days later I noticed some problems, but by then I couldn’t remember exactly what I changed and where. I think I have a fresh backup, but I want to redownload to be sure I am starting fresh. Where can I get a fresh copy?

Is it possible to see the number of the last version somewhere on the site ? It’s a little stressing to think maybe I don’t know there is a new version of the plugin much better and I did not get any email
