I am seeing this error I see in IE in a pop up
[http://thefitnessbootcampclub.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/js/jquery.tools.min.js?ver=3.5.1]
Appears to be JavaScript error that all of a sudden appeared yesterday and no other changes or updates or additional plugins have been installed in months. Wondered why it would just suddenly appear and if it appears again what to do about it?
April 18, 2013 at 5:40 am #55197PeterMemberThe link you sent is not an error but actually a link to a javascript file. So am not sure what the actual error that you are getting.
I took a look at your site with firebug and found the javascript error as follows:
Uncaught Could not find Overlay: #emember_forgot_pass_prompt
It is likely that your theme or another plugin might be causing a javascript problem. Please do the tests in the following link to determine what the cause is:

April 18, 2013 at 11:50 am #55198GeorgipMemberI cannot find any plug in that I have listed nor have I added anything in a while
I also really do not understand the debugging information so really do not know what to do from here
April 18, 2013 at 11:17 pm #55199adminKeymasterYour site has a few javascript errors and they are not coming from our plugins. We make sure that all our plugins are error free.
For the time being, don’t do anything if your site is functioning as you want. I would recommend you to just reload eMember plugin on your site:

April 19, 2013 at 2:15 am #55200GeorgipMemberOk but according to Pete above it is either coming from your plug in or effecting your plug in as it has to do with emember
But I will deactivate it for now as I’m only using the estore plug in and I don’t think that will effect the estore one correct?

No that’s not what I meant. The eMember plugin is not causing the javascript errors. It is in fact indirectly uncovering the javascript problems you are facing is coming from another plugin your installed or your theme.
Did you at least try the conflict tests to see if the error goes away when you deactivate the other plugin or when you revert to the native WP theme?
I will deactivate it for now as I’m only using the estore plug in and I don’t think that will effect the estore one correct?
If you are not using eMember or haven’t integrated it with eStore, then deactivating it in the meantime will not affect eStore.
April 19, 2013 at 8:45 pm #55202GeorgipMemberOh got first part
As for tests I guess you mean deactivate a plugin and see if error still happens
Well I’m no longer getting the pop up so I don’t know now cuz you stated their were several JavaScript errors and I have no idea how you found that
As for the actual tests again I don’t see how to do them especially since I’m no longer seeing error and you are
And estore and emember were ingrated so even though I’m not using it it would appear that by deactivating it would effect the estore
April 19, 2013 at 8:48 pm #55203GeorgipMemberI did remember updating one plug in and I think it was hybrid connect plug in so I did write to their support although I’m unsure if that’s the problem
And with me no longer getting the pop up it makes it hardto tell
FYI I only got the pop up error that first day and since you stated there were even a few java script errors hence my dilemma
April 19, 2013 at 11:42 pm #55204wpCommerceModeratorHi, the best way to handle this would be to keep all the plugins deactivated except eMember. First check to see that the popup functionality works on your site. If it does start activating one plugin at a time and see which one causes the issue.
April 21, 2013 at 2:53 pm #55205GeorgipMemberOk my pop ups are not blocked and I no longer getting pop up error. Can u confirm that as well?
April 21, 2013 at 11:19 pm #55206adminKeymasterI just checked and I don’t see any popup error on your site.
April 22, 2013 at 11:37 am #55207GeorgipMemberIt must have resolved when I updated a plugin but that’s weird
I’m glad they are gone! Thank You
