Hi,
I’ve upgraded to WP 3.1.1 and eMember 6.2.5. I’m still having one problem with my FREE registration page. I want free members to confirm their email address and when I used the short code:
[free_rego_with_email_confirmation]
It registers the user okay, provides an output message to check their email to complete their registration. However, the link generated is this:
http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxx.com/wordpress/register/?member_id=480&code=4b7f51a2e9a75018e0411c149a492417
All it does is send the user back to the current register page, which only has FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, & EMAIL ADDRESS, instead of providing the USER NAME, PASSWORD, etc. info to complete their registration.
Please advise, and thanks for a great product and tech support.

P.S. Get this, ten minutes later I receive a second email, this time the link sends me to the proper page. In the interim, I had commented out the previous register page short code:
[free_rego_with_email_confirmation]
and reanimated the normal one:
[wp_eMember_registration_form:end]
Do I need a second version of the register page that has the
[wp_eMember_registration_form:end]
in it?
The thing is, it worked before in its current form in WP 2.9.x and eMember 5.8.8.
Thanks.
What URL have you specified in the “Registration Page” field of the “Pages/Forms Settings” menu? This URL should be the one where you have the following shortcode:
[wp_eMember_registration_form:end]
On your “Join Us” page you can link to the page with the following shortcode:
[free_rego_with_email_confirmation]
This page should explain more on the difference between a join us page and the true registration page:
