Free downloads missing link in email

The free downloads on my site seem to be going through but the link isn’t included in the email. What am I missing?

Do you have the {product_link} email tag in the email body? Check the following area:

WP eStore Settings -> Email Settings -> Squeeze Form Email Settings

Edit the product in question. Does it have a file/page URL in the “Digital Content URL” field?

The paid for ones the link goes through just fine. It is the ones that just are downloading a free file that it doesn’t include it.

Wait I don’t see a separate option for Squeeze Form Email Settings. I just have buyer email body

Now that i see the difference between the emails, it looks like that email isn’t being sent. So where to i find the squeeze form email settings?

We added this in the “Email Settings” tab recently. It didn’t used to have one. Please do the following then go to the email settings tab and you will see it:

All upgraded, but the squeeze email doesn’t send. This one does.

What you have there is the manual checkout email.

Please go to the following page and read Option 2:

Read the documentation fully so you are using the shortcode for the squeeze form and not the manual checkout. The manual checkout and the squeeze form are 2 different things that offer different functionality.
