I find that the “Manage Customer Screen” is missing things I need. Most significantly, I’d like to see the full product name because right now the only way I can determine which variations have been selected is to look at “Edit/Details”. On the edit details, the field is too small to show the complete name, too.
I think the space is there. The “Edit/Details” could be made as a link for the customer number and that would free up plenty of room. The Transaction ID and status could also be shrunk down using a smaller font.
Because the Manage Customer screen allows selection by product ID, email and other criteria, it much faster to use it than to export everything as a CSV and then massage that. In fact, I’ve grown accustomed to importing directly into mailchimp by cutting from the Manage Customer screens and pasting into the import function of Mailchimp (and skipping unneeded columns).
While I’m dreaming, it would also be swell if the product could be selected via name with a pull down list in row 1. I’ve got 50 products and can’t keep the numbers straight! It might be a nice widget that could be reused on other screens.
I’m willing to make the coding changes and submit them back (as I’ve done before). But I don’t want to go down that path if you’ve already got plans in that direction.
