Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded

Hi,

Since I installed WP eMember, I have a lots of trouble to access my Website. Sometimes it happen just when i enter my domain name, sometimes it happen when I try to login as a customer. Sometimes only a blank page appear after about 30 seconds, sometimes I have this error message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home1/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/emember_auth.php on line 440

Can you help me please?

Hi,

I tried but it doesn’t work. I changed execution time to 60 instead of 30. The only difference is that it takes 60 seconds instead of 30 before I get the error message…

However, I think I have this problem only since I asked to the plugin (for a test) to send me a new password because I lost mine… So the new password has been created by wordpress. The first time I tried the new password it was working but now, the issue appear each time I try to login with this new password……???

I just tried to change the password myself from the plugin in Edit member. The issue still there…

Your server shouldn’t take that long to process a request. That is very strange.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin?

Does the problem, stop when you uninstall the plugin?
