Fatal error: Call to a member function getUserInfo() on a non-object in /home/content/15/6038315/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/wp_eStore1.php on line 837
I’m receiving this when using the following short codes on a page:
[wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=4]
[wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=12]
[wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=13]
[wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=14]
[wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=15]
these products do exist.
The error is occurring after i updated to the latest version as of last night
this is with wordpress 3.2.1 still.
I re-downloaded the plugin (just now) and used update method #2 and now have the same error but different line of code:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getUserInfo() on a non-object in /home/content/15/6038315/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/wp_eStore1.php on line 841
I do have other pages using similar short codes with different product numbers that are working just fine.
This is also affecting pages with the shortcode [wp_eStore_subscribe:product_id:17:end]
These products are subscription based products if that helps.
*I updated emember as well to the latest version last night, and again today as the error might be bc these are membership products, just speculating here, but received the same error.
December 16, 2011 at 11:00 pm #39749PeterMemberHi,
Are you using the eMember (7.4.7) plugin together with eStore?
I just a tried a couple of tests where I used that shortcode [wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=4] and got the same error as you.
I then de-activated eMember plugin and the shortcode works.
There might be some conflict as a result of recent updates to both plugins.
Please wait for admin to see this message and he should be able to let you know what to do next.
In the meantime if you have the previous version of eMember you should be ok to use that temporarily until the latest version is fixed.
December 16, 2011 at 11:05 pm #39750Ulich05MemberYes on the above.
Thanks for confirming you had the same results.
I actually just updated to WP 3.3 bc I read that the new eMember is updated to reflect changes w/ wp3.3, and thought it may not be compatible w 3.2.1
However I still get the same error as above w/ WP3.3
I’ll hunt around here for an older version of eMember, hope I still have a copy somewhere.
December 16, 2011 at 11:16 pm #39751Ulich05MemberI actually don’t have any backups of prior versions, if there a chance you could email me one?
December 16, 2011 at 11:26 pm #39752PeterMemberI haven’t updated to WP3.3 yet.
It is true that there have been fixes to eMember recently to account for several issues seen with blank pages when logging in to membership accounts.
Therefore based on the fact that you have upgraded to WP3.3 you might be best served to wait until admin comes online in a few hours.
December 17, 2011 at 7:22 am #39753adminKeymasterThis is related to the eMember and WP3.3 issue explained here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/wordpress-33-and-wp-emember-issue
Please update eStore and eMember both and you won’t see this issue anymore.
December 19, 2011 at 2:14 am #39754Ulich05MemberFixed! thank you!
